Vintage time

Then He began to tell the people this parable: “A certain man planted a vineyard, leased it to vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time. Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed. Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.
Luke 20:9-12 (NKJV)

Even as the Lord used this title in a parable so also is its applicability to every custodian of God's gifts, talents and breath of life. The custodians in this scenario lost focus and their real mission. When vintage time came, they were totally unprepared and sought to justify their unpreparedness by taking away the accountability phase of their life - i.e. hostility to anything that represented this accountability requirement.

Is your life hostile to this accountability requirement that's upon your life? To be and remain hostile is to come against the same stone that the builders have rejected. As the times and seasons of life stands, Vintage time will surely come, be prepared.

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
