The Lord stressed the importance to be a positive influence in our world. The ways and patterns of the world are like a rushing and powerful tide that can be very powerful, sweeping anything in its path. Yet we are to remain firm, unmoveable, adjusting to the times but keeping true to the values of our faith foundation. Staying relevant at all times with the goal to impact for the Kingdom, not acting as fanatics like the world fanatics do, but showing understanding and love to a misunderstood world and bringing them to the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
... in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you.

Everyday is a unique opportunity to shine and bring glory to our Creator. Never miss the opportunity to do so. The Creator even demands it.
