Delight your Maker

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14 (NIV)

As we live the day out, we must operate in the consciousness of the knowledge of our main audience. We must never lose sight of the one we are performing for. Our thoughts (out of which comes the cares of life), our actions, our ways and indeed all we do must be seasoned, appealing and acceptable to our main audience - Our Lord our Maker. If any act or speech in our daily life will not please Him or bring glory to Him, then we should not be on that path. When we hide His word like this in our heart and this serves as our guide in our daily walk, it will be inevitable for such a person's steps not to be ordered by the Lord. When our steps are in sync with Him, He delights in our way and then can the words of our mouth and meditation of our heart be pleasing and acceptable in His sight.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.
Psalm 37:23 (NKJV)

Let your heart make this the main pursuit in your life. You will never go wrong doing this.

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
