Survival in a subtly hostile and vicious environment may not always require confronting force with force, it will require a gentle and patient strategy to wear out every attack and intentions of the opponent. The Lord Himself gave this advice to set our expectations on what is to come. Unfortunately, the same truth is most times shielded or just not shared by most Ministers of the word. Because our common adversary and his agents are determined and consistent, their approach and strategy are sleek, sly and calculated, camouflaging as sheep to hide their decimating and destructive tendencies from an unsuspecting flock.
We must be sober and diligent in our daily walk, watching who is in our entourage and being conscious of our environment and all influences. Remember we are dealing with a committed adversary who is relentless and 24x7. Flesh and blood is no match, but a way out is available in His word.
