The Ram in the Bush

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. Genesis 22:13 [KJV]

God will always provide our needs when we have been obedient to Him. Think about Abraham and Isaac. God told Abraham to give up the one thing that he had longed for all his life. The test of faith was for both Abraham and Isaac. Abraham, to see if he truly believed that God could do anything and Isaac, to find if God could get him out of impossible situations. Both of them had to have immense fear in what could happen, but God knew the outcome. He knew that Abraham trusted Him, but He wanted to confirm in Abraham's heart that fact. He also knew that Isaac would go through life with a belief that God could get him out of the most dire straits. God can always have a "Ram caught in the thicket" for us, but we must go far enough in our faith to find the thicket and then the "RAM"

Be Encouraged,

Martin
