Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Sometimes the toll of waiting and the expansivity of the human will reaches it’s limit and breaking point that a self-dependent believer begins the crumbling process and begins to cage in to the adversary’s antics, devices and schemes. This is an appropriate time for the body to cling together in oneness and lifting each other up in the continuous struggles and challenges of life. Our hope is sure and that in itself is comforting and assuring and that provides a basis to us to not waver on the promises of God.
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)
When the going gets tough, it’s not an excuse to succumb to compromise, temptation or the antics and dubious schemes of our common enemy, instead let us lift each other up by considering one another for the purpose of edification of the entire body of Christ. We must not waver, we must not falter, we must not retreat and neither must we surrender our confessed hope of glory.
