Peace in His Reverence

The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.
Proverbs 19:23 (NKJV)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. To fear the Almighty God is to acknowledge Him in all our ways. When we operate in fear and reverence of the Most High God, our ways and thoughts are guarded from destruction, our choices are divinely informed and directed and we are enveloped in a divine assurance which gives us peace that’s beyond the reasoning of man.

Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
Psalm 25:12 (NKJV)

His fear inspires and emboldens us to detest sin in our lives and we are motivated to shun all acts of self-righteousness, pride and unrighteousness. Today, let us operate in the fear of the Lord that we may know true peace during rough and good times.

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
