Why worry?

And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
Luke 12:25 (NKJV)

As God's children it will be a waste of our emotional and physical resources to worry about our present challenges. Worrying over them never improves them but instead leaves us bruised, defaced and weakened in the process.

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:25 (NKJV)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
Proverbs 3:5 (NKJV)

Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22 (NKJV)

Brothers and Sisters, When the waves of life seem to rise above us and we are against the tide, rather that worry, let's worship the Lord, trusting Him and getting real Peace in exchange for what ever our human nature gives in return.

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
