No thing like the Real thing

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
Hebrews 9:24

Much is made about places of worship, their "sacredness" and emotional power. But this word from Scripture makes clear that these buildings are not heaven, but only an imitation or reflection of being in the Lord's presence.

Have you elevated those structures above being at the foot of Jesus?
Have we substituted deep personal intimacy with simply showing up at church?

There is no excuse for isolating from the Body. But neither is there any excuse for dedicating important time for that one-on-one conversation with Christ. It will unlock peace and satisfaction that is beyond imagination.

Be encouraged,
José
