Christ's example

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:1-2 (NKJV)

The world was overtaken by trespass and condemned to judgment, but our Lord through His infinite grace and mercies bore our burdens and paid the penalty on our behalf at great price. He personally displayed the law of love, giving Himself as a ransom that we may get another chance at eternal life. As we remember and celebrate Easter, let us remember the importance and the fulfillment of the law of Christ in our daily lives. Bearing one another's burdens, being our brother and sister's keeper and loving our neighbors as ourselves. It is the Christ's example. He died for this for our sake. To do otherwise will be cheer hypocrisy.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus
Philippians 2:5 (NKJV)

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
