The pursuit of our life's goals usually demands the best of us and the end result can be fulfilling or frustrating. With appreciation for our God given abilities, it is unwise to wholly depend on only our abilities, rather true wisdom comes from Him who even in our endowed abilities leads us in the path of righteousness and way of everlasting. Our vision may be able to take us as far, but our God who is 'all knowing' knows what is best for us. His directions are on point and never failing.
