A patient spirit

The end of a thing is better than its beginning; The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
Ecclesiastes 7:8 (NKJV)

To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. The day and the night is a perfect example of this divine cycle of life. In our lives as well, times will change, but God’s word says the end of a thing is better than its inception. As the seasons and time change, it is also possible to get caught up in the web of interpreting our situations from a carnal perspective.

Do not say, "Why were the former days better than these?" For you do not inquire wisely concerning this. In the day of prosperity be joyful, But in the day of adversity consider: Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.
Ecclesiastes 7:10, 14 (NKJV)

Brothers and Sisters, rather than channeling our energies into only asking questions, let our Spirit be patient and not proud. When we rest in the assurance of a faithful God, our patient spirit can also experience the peace that defies all human reason.

Be Encouraged,

Afolabi
