Bread in the wilderness

In those days, the multitude being very great and having nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples to Him and said to them, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now continued with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And if I send them away hungry to their own houses, they will faint on the way; for some of them have come from afar.” Then His disciples answered Him, “How can one satisfy these people with bread here in the wilderness?” He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” And they said, “Seven.”
Mark 8:1-5 (NKJV)

You have followed at least in your humanly possible and best way to walk the walk of faith. You are sometimes confronted with confusion as to the state of things as reality don't always line up with your faith goals. The disciples were in such dire situations when the diligent pursuit of thousands met the compassion of a kind and gracious God. The Lord will always use what you have for your breakthrough. He asked the disciples what they had in the face of thousands that were challenged with their appetite for survival. What the disciples had was brought forth in the wilderness and the Lord blessed and there was abundance even to having left overs.

What do you have in your wilderness? Bring it to the Lord and have Him bless it. He will always use what we have in the wilderness to bless our world not just us alone.

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
