The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
John 10:10 (NKJV)
The strategy and end game of the adversary is the same. No matter how beneficial and attractive the package of the adversary is, his goal is to steal (steal what's not theirs), kill (kill the potential and abilities of God's talent in man) and destroy (destroy the fruits, and symbols of faith, life). We must not be ignorant of the whims and caprices of our common foe. We must resist him and reject his options for a better one.
The Lord came that we may have life in abundance. Why settle for the passing pleasures that our temporary with hidden destruction.

Sufficient Grace
The world had gone to the extreme, pressing further in evil and provoking a kind-hearted God to the point of regret and destruction.
7 So the LORD said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
Genesis 6:7-8 (NKJV)
Thank God for the shed blood and price of calvary, an all sufficient grace for an undeserving world. He has paid the price for us all and as Noah was spared in the first judgment, we have a chance to get it right through His grace.

Kingdom-Driven
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matthew 6:18-20 (NKJV)
There's no doubt we are driven by our inner desires and motives. What we treasure drives our intent. A 'rational' business-minded person invests for gain and not deliberate loss, waste and destruction. Our hearts are drawn towards our object(s) of affection, in short our treasures.... what we hold so important and of high value. Some things will rust and be decimated by the elements and deliberately destroyed by man.
Why would one want to be setup and lay up one's treasure for destruction and decimation? Are you Kingdom-driven?

Treasure place
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Mathew 6:19-20 (NKJV)
Its simply human to cherish and secure our most priced possessions. The above scripture used that simple truth to advise us to lay up our treasures in the heavenly places. A place that is void of a cycling economy, unpredictable stock market, slumping house market, Equity (one that disappears from ones investments overnight), 401Ks, IRAs, etc. This place is also immune against the elements of the world that can corrode, rust, melt or even steal away our assets.
It is a smart idea to lay up our treasures in a place void of 'up today, disappear tomorrow'. Where are you laying your treasures?
