Being Fruitful

For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Peter 1:8 (NKJV)

Fruitfulness in the life of the believer is very important. The ability to multiply and the knowledge and confidence in the ability to multiply even in a season of drought sets the faithful aside from the faithless. To be faithful, there are a number of things that must be present and working hand in hand to keep the divine creative energy alive in the body of believers.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
2 Peter 1:5-7 (NKJV)

When these things are present and are at work in us, our fruitfulness will be glaring and our response to the dynamic changes of the world will be just different from the norm. In closing .... Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; (verse 10)

Be encouraged,

Afolabi
